- Understand the core architecture of an AI Agent (LLM + Tools + Memory).
- Learn how to instruct an LLM to use external tools (APIs) or in-built tools.
- Gain hands-on experience debugging and refining agent behaviors.
- Collaborate in teams to prototype a working solution.
- Developers and Engineers interested in advancing their career with AI.
- Product Managers looking to understand and implement Agent capabilities in their product.
- AI Enthusiasts who want to move beyond simple prompting (Generative AI).
Part 1: Vibe Check (15-20 min)
- Intro (Self)
- Understanding the demography and skill level of the participants
- Understanding their intent and expectations
- Setting the vibe
- Intro on Basics of AI (if needed) before deep dive
Part 2: Anatomy of AI Agent (45-60 min)
- Deep dive into components: The Model (Brain), Tools (Actions), Memory (Context), and Planning (Reasoning).
- Technical walkthrough of how agents interact with the outside world.
Part 3: Activity – The Hands-On Agentathon (75-95 min)
- Division of participants into teams and assignment of the “Theme.”
- Instructions discourse and discussion
- Teams work (hands-on) to build their agents, define tools, and refine system prompts.
- Mentored debugging and assistance.
Part 4: Demo (30-45 min)
- Team presentations: Pitching the use case and demonstrating the agent.
- Celebrate Success
Part 5: Outro & Closure (15-20 min)
- Summary of Key Learnings
- Q & A and Feedback session
- Sharing of resources and next steps for learning
- Should understand basics of Tech like API - helpful but not mandatory. Basics of Python - helpful but not mandatory.
- Willingness to Learn: An open mind and a willingness to learn and apply new concepts. Note: For hands-on workshop, attendees should bring their own laptop with tools installed
- Note: For hands-on workshop, attendees should bring their own laptop with tools installed
Benefits/Takeaways of this workshop for the attendees (What will attendees do after attending the workshop which they were not able to do before attending this)
- Demystifying Agentic Architecture: Participants will move beyond “prompt engineering” to understand the structural difference between a standard Chatbot and an Agent (LLM + Tools + Memory + Planning).
- Hands-On Implementation: Attendees will not just listen to theory; they will build and deploy a functional AI agent on their own machines during the session.
- Tool Integration Mastery: Learn the specific techniques required to connect Large Language Models (LLMs) to external data sources and APIs (e.g., Google Search, Calculators, or custom databases).
- Problem Decomposition: Gain the mental framework for breaking down complex human problems into steps that an AI agent can autonomously plan and execute.
