Introduction/Primer to Responsible AI Principles
Introduction to Aapti’s work, some of our past projects and the impetus for responsible AI through a presentation.

Game 1: FailSafe
Understand and internalise Responsible AI principles. Co-design an implementable approach using the Responsible AI principles according to realistic constraints

Game 2: Sail La Vie
A treasure hunt game involving risk navigation and trust-building challenges. This simulation offers a gamified lifecycle thinking approach to embedding Responsible AI principles

Reflections + Close
Conclude with participant reflections based on the simulation games, feedback and a summary.

About Speakers

Gautam is an associate at the Aapti Institute. A passionate problem-solver dedicated to addressing complex challenges at the intersection of technology and public policy. He brings a unique perspective to issues like data governance, the evolving landscape of platform work, fostering digital trust, and ensuring responsible AI development and implementation.  

 Supratik is a researcher at Aapti Institute, focusing on developing innovative policy frameworks and bias mitigation strategies to create fair, safe, and responsible AI systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University, where his research spanned various dimensions of climate change policy. His work explored the lived experiences of climate change through mediums like music and art, as well as the biodiversity data rights of Indigenous communities in India, with a strong focus on climate justice. Prior to his work in AI, Supratik gained experience implementing education and healthcare programs at the district level. His interest in ground-level narratives and their intersection with technology continues to shape his contributions at the nexus of AI, policy, and governance.
